Bamboo Window Shades -- The Perfect Complement To Any Room

We have several different sets of bamboo window shades throughout our home, and I have never regretted installing them. One of the best things about bamboo window shades is that they are very practical -- they effectively block out even bright light from outside, not just sunlight but light from street lamps and even moonlight. Another thing that I like about bamboo window shades is that they are very lightweight and easy to put up -- they don't usually require the installation of the kind of complicated hardware that other types of blinds and shutters require.
A major manufacturer of bamboo window shades is Lewis Hyman. They make a number of different types of shades. One that I like best sells for just under $33 -- the Lewis Hyman Kona Roman bamboo shade. This bamboo window shade kit includes all the necessary hardware and is made of hand-selected bamboo. To help the homeowner, the shade measures 1/2" less in width to allow you to mount it inside your window well. This particular kit is a 31" x 72" shade.
Another great bamboo window shade product comes to us from Oriental furniture. They call theirs "Bamboo Matchstick Roll-Up Blinds." These bamboo window shades are manufactured in a variety of sizes: 24" x 72", 36" x 72", 48" x 72", and 72" x 72". These bamboo window shades come with durable double-catch hardware, and the bamboo is made from kiln-dried Bamboo which has been tightly stitched together to provide privacy. Prices vary -- so check around for the best price.
Another type of bamboo window shade that I like best is another type of matchstick bamboo roll-up blind -- it is called a Natural roll-up bamboo window shade. It is equipped with a 6 inch, built-in valance and other high-quality hardware. These bamboo window shades come in the following sizes: 36" x 72", 48" x 72", 72" x 72", and 96" x 72". The installation of these types of bamboo window shades is very easy, and installation instructions are included on the back of the product label.
Another item I like a lot is the Bamboo White Hot Safety Sunblock Shade. It is normally priced at just under $16, and is designed to be used in a window -- your car window. This innovative window shade reveals the word "HOT" when the interior of your vehicle becomes too hot for small children or pets. This bamboo window shade also blocks harmful UV rays, and is easily adjustable with their unique 2-step release button. This vehicle window shade attaches through the use of suction cups, so it will not damage your car's interior.
Finally, is this product from Stacks and Stacks -- a Maya Roman Shade, priced at just under $40 for the 35" x 72" size. This bamboo window shade is made of hand-selected matchstick bamboo with wooden pulls. It is also moisture and humidity resistant, and wipes clean with a moist, damp cloth -- and the manufacturer promises that installing their bamboo window shades is very easy to do.
